Oriana is run by one person: Michał Gil, in Poland. Write to hello@heyoriana.com about anything on this page.
A web app for practising a spoken language with a character who answers. It is free, there is nothing to sign up for, and it is still being built.
Use it to practise, as much as the daily limit allows. Your conversations are yours: they are stored on your own device and you can export them.
There is a cap on talking minutes per day, per device, because every minute costs real money to answer. The number is shown in the app and may change. Working around it — scripting the app, or driving the server directly — is the one thing that will get a device cut off.
She is a language model. She invents things, she gets facts wrong, and she is not a teacher, a translator, a doctor, a lawyer or an emergency service. Do not rely on anything she says where being wrong would matter.
Do not use Oriana to break the law or to produce material that harms someone. What you say to her goes to Google's Gemini API and is subject to their terms as well as these.
Oriana is offered as it is, with no guarantee that it works, that it keeps working, or that it is available at all. It may change or stop without notice. Your conversations live on your device: if you clear your browser's data or lose the device, they are gone, and there is no backup to restore from. Export anything you want to keep.
To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for any loss arising from using this app. Nothing here limits a right you have that cannot be waived under the law where you live.
What is stored and how to have it deleted is on the privacy page.
If this page changes the date at the top changes with it.
